Looking forward to tomorrow’s game could it be the first home league win since the opening day fixture. Feel we need to get down the wings more and to get crosses into the box something we infrequently do, that narrow play with lots of short passes has failed against well organised teams so far the season. Longer passing spreading out the play and stretching the opposition is that an option. Working on set pieces defensively is a good idea and usually is drilled into a squad early on. In this league working on set pieces offensively from free kicks and corners can pay off, can’t remember the last time we scored from a well worked free kick (a few passes). Oh yeah always chase the balls back to the keeper down, in tight games this could be a lifeline just don’t give up, give it everything.
