What a terribly performance last night from the team that Northmore put out. We've not played for a little while, why not stick with the team that had been doing so well recently. Tom Jordan was definitely missed at the back as they didn't really seem to have a clue what they were doing, constantly crossing the ball across the pitch just in front of the 18 yard box. The ref was a plank too. Cane was on par as per normal having to be held back as they went to the dressing rooms from kicking off at one of their staff, the medic I think. And charging us £12 for the pleasure of it? I'm sure we don't normally pay full price for these games.......

Yeah, with Ryan saying the cup was a priority only a week or so before, I handed over my £12 fully expecting to see at least one of the following players ....Purnell, Jordan, Mitchell, Fortune, Cane, Mawford, Ash, Watkins....to leave those eight out and be missing Dayle suggests to me that the cup wasn't a priority at all, but getting a few people through the turnstile at full price was the important thing. What upsets me most is that Latchy was probably at home in the warm in his smoking jacket with a nice bottle of red...bastard! The only crumb of comfort from the whole affair is that Scoops had to pay full price...ha ha. (oh and yeah and the ref was a proper tool!)

It was a fine Château Mouton Rothschild regarded as one of the world's greatest clarets, a little extravagant for a school night but I think I’m worth it.

Got myself a bottle of that Claret and gave the game a miss today as a protest at being fleeced on Tuesday....F*cking expensive but very smooth....gone a treat with my fried chicken, cheers Latchy, hope you're enjoying the game!

Claret with fried chicken? oh no no no, I much prefer a Cabernet Sauvignon. I find the milder spices that you get with fried chicken pair better due to their ability to minimize the perception of tannins, after all I'm not a monster!
As for the game today... if I were to describe it as a wine then it was defiantly be a room temperature bottle of Lambrini - no substance, no style, no class and leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
