Do you not like our travelling away support? I've always been curios as to why so few travel to away games. I know that cost and time are obviously factors, but our support is nothing but embarrassing. 200 for home games and between 5-10 away is just awful.
I've also wondered why we are not more vocal at home games, I know we have low gates but much of the support is loyal and go to every home game. I think it would make a significant difference as two of the best weston performances I have seen, both in the 2011/12 season, were against Welling who were top of the league at the time and Havant in the FA cup were when we had everybody behind the team and singing along, and changing ends at half time to cheer the lads on.

0 - 2 !!!!! Time to bring on Fiddes - shame we can't afford Knowles, Monks, Plummer or Harris to play !

I know that Chaz has improved but he still doesn't score goals, we have two strikers on the bench that are more capable of making a mark at this level. Please Lairdy, give up on this experiment and get Plummer or Harris or even both in there!

I'm not interested in slagging off any of our players, but, can someone explain to me how a squad that contains Slocombe, Monks. Jamie Laird, Gregson and Knowles ends up with Callum Laird in the starting line-up? Early in the season Monks was on the left with Slocombe on the right and it seemed, to me, to work really well, Knowles also looked effective alongside Jamie Laird even though I know it's not his preferred position. For me Kirk has also put in some of his best performances as a central defender too, his class seems to be more evident there and he seems to have more impact on the game. If it really is down to money that is a real shame, especially as only a month or so ago when we signed Jake Harris we seemed to be entering a fairly exciting time for the club.

more interesting would be an explanation as to why laird insists on playing hemmings for 80 minuets before bringing on plumber as surly that negates any its to save money arguments.... and tho i wasnt there i was listening on the radio and the changes clearly turned the game around so if we had started with plumber and harris on we probably would have won!
