Having just read in the mercury all the excuses for losing to Gosport , the weather ,the loss of Plummer , lack of funds etc etc.. I think it was simply because we reverted back to playing with one striker. We have been doing well playing 2 up front and there wasn't the excuse that we don't have any strikers because there were 2 sat on the bench... And before anyone starts this is not a dig at Chaz , he played well , but I think even he will admit he plays better with a partner.

We haven't play with 2 up front in a very long time, we have either been playing Chaz in behind Tristan due to lack on midfielders ( Brett, kirky injured and naby suspended) or Tristan wide right and Chaz up top, formation has been 4-2-3-1 all the time hasn't changed since start of season??

You can argue about formations until you’re blue in the face. The simple fact is that we lost to second from bottom Gosport in appalling conditions because as a team we were crap, four days earlier we won against second from top Eastleigh in similar conditions because as a team we were brilliant. That is all.
A very simplistic view I know, but that’s what you get from a simpleton!
